ABOUT PROJECT/CLIENT

Our client, a fashion consultancy provides a wide range of services from sketch to sale.

We were exposed to the business model and concept of this new project which had much to do with enabling fashion designers to sell IP directly to brands/retailers.

The decision making on the buyer aspect is mainly handled by Merchandiser / Purchase Manager.

INSIGHT

Research showed that out of the 12 activities of work that the consumers of this product have, they spent 50%+ on the following:
B2B Merchandising
Inventory management for pop-ups
E-commerce sales

GOAL

Any feature that inconveniences our audience is not valuable and hence we chose a very simple transactional look.

CONCLUSION

As b2b requires a different route to choose products, the main challenge was to design the browsing experience. We also experimented with sounds - having a basic tone play every time a transaction took place.
